Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly known by the name of Jessie J, is a well-known English music producer and singer. Jessie was first noticed for her distinct style of music, which incorporates soul vocals with hip-hop, pop and electropop. Alongside her numerous awards, she has been nominated for the 2011 "Critics' Choice Brit Award" and BBC's Sound of 2011". The career of Jessie began at age 11 in 2002 when Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in the show Whistle Down the Wind. She later joined the 'National Youth Musical Theater' and appeared in the production by the theater "The Late Sleepers," which premiered in 2002. The album she released her debut "Who You Are" was released in February 2011. She became famous that year. In the UK all by itself, the album sold 105,000 units while in the US the number was 34,000. The album debuted as number 2 among the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on the US Billboard 200.
