Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Her style is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 when she became well-known on their forums. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. Beginning in early 2015, she joined the channel when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts. One covering the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She started reviewing movies late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer community. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
