LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known by the name of King James and is considered as one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as the four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has the distinction of having two Olympic Gold Medals. James is the holder of the most amount of points scored during the post-season. He is second in overall career score and 7th most career assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected on be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. As a total, James has played in 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. This includes eight straight from 2011 to 2018. In 2021, James was selected to make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to score at least 10,000 career points as well as assists and rebounds. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA star. In 2003 it was the year that it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as one of the best league players winning the NBA MVP Award in both 2009 and 2010. James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 when James became a Free Agent after not achieving a Championship with Cleveland. The announcement of his departure was broadcast on The Decision.
