Robyn Rihanna who is also known as Rihanna - is a Barbadian pop singer, songwriter and musician. She has had hits such as Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular artist who has sold over 41 million albums around the world and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados, she grew up to love reggae and started singing when she was a young child. Disturbed by the chaos in her family and the constant arguments between her parents she immersed herself in music, and soon realized she wished to become a professional musician. While still in highschool she was a part of a band group, and was asked to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talents of this young lady. He asked the girl to make the move to New York in order to take on a full-time job in the field of singing, which she happily accepted. Rihanna quickly became a star after her debut release. Rihanna was loved by young people due to her lively dance music, which was a hit. The result was Rihanna becoming a director. Beautiful young and extremely talented her name is today considered a teen idol and a style icon. Rihanna is also putting her fame to good use, and has been active in many charity causes.
