Bella Poarch's biological Filipino parents had Bella in the Philippines, on February 9 1997. Her adoption took place at the age of 3 by her grandmother, living in slums. The adoptive parents are American white with military training and her mother is Filipino. She has claimed that she and her adopted brother that she was with were subject to abuse by their adoptive parents from when she was young until the time that she joined the army. The family moved across the country to San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt before moving to Texas at the age of 13 owing to her father's need to undergo bypass surgery. Though the physical violence stopped but she says that she still suffered mental abuse from her father at her home. At the age of 18years old, Poarch joined the United States Navy. Poarch launched the TikTok account on April of 2020 quickly gaining fame amassing more than 40 million users in just eight months. The clip of Millie's Soph Aspin Send, which is now a big sensation for Millie B was her greatest success. The clip, which was zoomed in, of her lip-syncing rhythmically to the tune and jumping around into the song was an extremely viral video which became TikTok's top-rated video. In the months after joining TikTok she created her own YouTube and Twitter account in order to make the most of her fame. Her popularity grew rapidly until the month of December in 2020. It was reported that she drew the attention of two major professional Esports organizations. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves each expressed interest in bringing on the content creator to work as part of their brand.
